Abilities

Bubble Creation

Bubble beauties being made of living soap are able to draw excess soap from their body and creat bubbles with it. They have strong control over these bubbles which are near imposible to break. the bubbles are smooth and slightly wet. Most would consider these bubbles quite comfortable and soft.

Bubble Overide

Given their conection with nature and Sylvia. Bubble Beauties are able exert their will and take control of other bubbles. it is easiest to do by touch as they can put their own soap into the bubble to make it easier, but can be done with out doing so but requires more effort and concentration. These bubble lose control if concentration is broken, where as the touched ones will not.

Floating

Bubble Beauties naturally float in the air. They can float freely in all directions and are not affected by wind or gravity, unless they choose to be. They can control their weight a bit and walk on the ground if desired.

Shapeshifting

A Bubble Beauty is able to chose and change their shape and colors at will. while they will have an 'at rest' form which is akin to their original body, they can be what ever they like, and even pretend to be a normal humanoid, albeit slightly shinier skin. This does require concentration and can break and revert to 'at rest' when resting or distracted.

Soap Absorbtion and Living bubbles

Anything that enters into a bubble containing the bubble beauty's soap or into the bubble beauty itself can be broken down into soap. This include people as well. the consciousness is saved and can be transfered into any bubble blown. These bubbles can be controlled by the consciousness with few given shape and powers at the bubble beauties discretion. These bubble are loyal to their beauty. These people can eventually be reverted back into their normal form by the bubble beauty.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Bubble Beauties are living bubble. Their body consist of a magical soapy membrane with a hollow inside. These beings are mostly transparent, but can occasionally have a slight color to them. When exposed to light the soap swirling in their body will occasionally have a rainbow tint. The film that comprises their skin is smooth and slightly wet. Their body is soft and rubbery offering significant resistant if not trying to encapsulate the person or object. The film will stretch slightly when pushed on and return to its normal form after a bit of elastic jiggle. A beauty can not be popped by normal means even by sharp object. Most things will simply bounce off of it or get pulled inside the body leaving no opening where it passed through. To harm a beauty one must subject them to extreme temperatures.
A bubble Beauty does not have any interior organs, and most of their needs are filtered through their soapy membrane. Their interior space is completely under their control. They could fill themselves with what ever they like, be it gasses, fluids, people or filling themselves with bubbles. Being inside a bubble beauty is a wonderful experience, it is kept warm and surprisingly dry. A person might fill out the entirety of the beauty as if a living suit, they could be curled up inside a particular space, or simply left floating helplessly in the space not touching the soapy walls.
Shape-wise bubble beauties tend to vary. There is no defined form aside that they are living bubbles. Given they are able to change their shape and even coloring they can appear as they want. Most, however, tend to retain roughly the same shape as they were prior to their transformation, thus being a bubbly version of their old self. Some however change it to how they like or will even just become a nice round bubble.

Genetics and Reproduction

Bubble Beauties are magical creatures and do not form naturally and instead are created by Sylvia. Sylvia uses her powers to connect the Soul of a person to the Sylvan Lands and herself. This connection changes their body into a soapy version of themselves. Once completed the process is irreversible. Due to this connection to the sylvan lands, the bubble beauty's health is tied to it. They are far healthier when surrounded by nature and the mana is strong. Likewise, they are less healthy in very urbanized or destroyed areas unless there is a strong source of mana nearby.
It is possible for a bubble beauty to connect another's soul to the sylvan lands. They can take a person into themselves,. Their bubbly interior will fill with suds obscuring the body of their prey. The person will start to melt into the foam. When the foam slowly retracts, the person will be gone. The beauty is then able to blow a bubble and insert the consciousness of the person who was absorbed. If they are aligned with Sylvia's Goals or close to nature, the bubble can form into the shape of the person. The will be bestowed with the abilities of the bubble beauty. Normally they will eventually lose the ability to take shape and revert to a bubble for the Beauty to absorb and revert them to normal. However, if they do not waver in their attunement to nature and Sylvia, they can permanently become a bubble beauty. The original bubble beauty will not be able to transform the new beauty back to their old self.

Growth Rate & Stages

Bubble Beauties do not grow, at least not in a normal sense. They are fully capable of mentally maturing with time, but physically they do not change outside of their desired appearance changes. The one exception would be a child. In the rare case of a child becoming a beauty. The child's resting form will change to match their maturity if they desire it. Alternatively, they can remain as they were letting their more childish side amplify their nature as a bubble beauty.

Ecology and Habitats

Bubble Beauties thrives in places where nature runs wild and mana flows. Given such they often live out in the wild and away from urban areas. The exception is some will disguise themselves to live in cities such as Blessed Seat of Syl where Great Tree of Syl provides both the natural environment and mana needs. They can also live close to large concentrations of pink mist, though this can cause them to be act a bit more feral.
The better the flow of mana and the more healthy the natural environment the more powerful a bubble beauty's powers are.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Bubble Beauties are a bit complex in their dietary needs. They would eat typically natural foods, fruits, berries, vegetables, honey, and even some foods processed from plants such as bread. They tend not to eat meat. The bubble beauties can taste and enjoy the food normally. Yhey quickly break down the food inside the body adding it to their soapy membrane. Not eating like this regular would slightly hinder their ability to draw bubbles from their body.
However, there is another need they have, that of Soul energy, this is consumed by trapping people inside their bubbles or their body. The effects on the victim are minor, but it in return gives the beauties the energy and strength to maintain their form and powers. It is fairly common that bubble beauties to hunt and gather many people, but only take a few people with them. They hold these few in bubbles for a few days, teasing and playing. Many tend not to notice the drain and just believe it's them getting tired. When done feeding the beauties will let their prey go.

Behaviour

Bubble Beauties are rather playful predators. They absolutely enjoy trapping people in bubbles and teasing them. They are often known to be quite cunning and will hide or lay traps for their prey. When they do catch people it is typically fairly playful behavior They will tease, fill bubbles with more bubbles, and just generally try to make it an enjoyable experience. Some will even go inside with their pray to cuddle. To them the enjoyment of their prey is just as important as their own needs. Bubble Beauties are not often sexual, and anything fairly intimate tends to be for the enjoyment of others and with people they are familiar with.
Bubble Beauties also care heavily for nature and will go to great lengths to protect it. For those who seem to heavily disrupt or are harmful to nature or ecosystems, tend to find themselves on the darker sides of the beauties. Once anger they will hunt mercilessly and torment their foes. They might get a little playful over time in an attempt to teach them better respect. However, repeat offenders might find themselves, permanent captive or even broken down into bubble soap and serving as a bubble for the beauty to command.

Additional Information

Social Structure

Bubble Beauties do not have much social structure as they often are independent of each other. They do naturally respect each other and the Goddess. Should Sylvia need them they would quickly answer. When they are together, they often get along and if any are given more respect than the others it would be the eldest.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Being a nature and magic oriented being, Bubble Beauties have a strong sense for their natural surrounds and the ebbs and flow of Mana. They are also very keenly aware of the living things they may take into their body almost as if they are temporary extensions of themselves. Aside from this they other-wise retain senses as they previous knew them or maintain an average sense.

Civilization and Culture

History

Bubble Beauties first came to be in the world back in the early days, long before the War of the Gods. The Goddess Sylvia turned several of her followers into the first bubble beauties as gifts, able to weild bubbles to their delight and to spread happiness, in fact making them dependent on it by having them draw soul energy through play. The Goddess mostly let them be free and play. Sadly these times could not last, as when Lia brought darkness and war. Sylvia desired her bubble Beauties to defend her followers. They were strong and effective at catching prey, but not effective warriors. Not wanting to change them Sylvia did her best to protect them and others bringing as much as she could to the Sylvan Lands. She let the beauties have free reign of the lands to enjoy, asking they only do their bests to protect it. Thus thats what they did, they played and they protected.

Body Tint, Colouring and Marking

This varries as they can change their coloring, however at rest they are typically a mostly transparent light blue. thereis a swearling rainbow tint that can appear when they are directly in light. Some might have a different coloring such as pink or purple, but this is often by their choice.
