Bituin Forest
The Bituin Forest is a densely forested region of Bituin that moves up the mountain. The mountain collects cool air which flows down and keeps the region temperate. It also causes it to rain more in this region, leaving it very wet and cool compared to other parts of the country. The winters in this area are colder than most, and are known for being misty as cool air and steep ground forces condensation down and creating a season of thick fog. Up near the top of the mountains it can get cold enough to occasionally form snow.
Several rivers and streams flow through this region, providing fresh water to the people near by. One of the largest rivers flows straight through the capital city of Minau and out into the ocean.
This region is also home to several Miinu settlements such as The Grotto and the The Hive Kingdoms.
