Plain Strider Tribe

The Plain Strider Tribe is only a few years younger than the Oasis-Born Tribe having been formed 195 years ago. The Plainstrider Tribe started out as an all-Minotaur Tribe and required all tribesmen to worship Vodinos. Reth Vanrar of the Truth of the Underworld is a former tribesman but was exiled for speaking out against Vodinos and attempting to convert people to Gethen. In more recent years the tribe has been more welcoming to non-Minotaurs and is also more open about the worship of other gods except when it comes to the old-fashioned ways the village elders are bent on keeping in place and it is still required for all Tribesmen to offer something to Vodinos every month. The most recent Chieftain is Manus Brighthide, a relative of Reth Vanrar and a worshipper of Kyopa. Many challenged Manus recently still believing that a Brighthide has no right to be the Tribe Chief, but tribal rules require that a either a duel happens or the challenger must face his opponent in a trial of the Elders choice and Manus managed to defeat all of them
