The Knights of Vegapath are a newly ordained and elite knightly order, established by King Kendrick to honor those who played a pivotal role in the liberation of Alaron from the encroaching darkness. This order is shrouded in mystery, with entry being nearly impossible for the common Ffolk noble. The means of gaining membership are unknown, and many believe it is not something one can seek but rather something that fate bestows upon the chosen few.
The Knights of Vegapath are infamous for their audacious and often perilous exploits. They have been credited with the destruction of Cobh—an event so catastrophic it happened twice—the slaying of a monstrous entity known only as 'The Lehigh Monster,' and a fierce confrontation with 'The Raven,' the notorious former ruler of the thieves' guild in Caer Callidyrr. Their adventures have seen them battling dragons, altering the very coastlines of the Isles, and participating in legendary feats that would seem impossible to any other.
Following the arduous and bloody campaign that led to the fall of Kythyss, King Kendrick established the order in tribute to the heroic deeds at Fort Vegapath. The Knights of Vegapath now stand as both protectors and harbingers of the Ffolk, their legacy intertwined with both the light of salvation and the shadows of their own making.

Among the ranks of Fort Vegapath, there’s a running joke that Sergeant Major Zorky, the stern and watchful overseer of the fort, is not just one person but possibly one of thousands—if not tens of thousands—of clones. If one were to ask Jacob, he would have you believe he is so dedicated to his duty that he found a way to clone himself, ensuring that no corner of the fort would ever be without his vigilant eye. Some Ffolk even say that when Zorky gives you a stern look, it’s because he’s already seen your mistake—through the eyes of one of his many clones.
