The Twilight Song
In ages passed, long before the arrival of humans and their gods, the island was home to a lost species of dragon. These magnificent creatures were revered by the island’s natives, who saw them as the guardians and sovereigns of their land.
These song dragons were believed to possess a powerful magic that was tied to the very essence of creation. They were said to sing a spellbinding song, the Twilight Song, that echoed through the forests and meadows, calling all creatures of the wild to come and dance to their tune.
The natives of Alaron paid homage to the song dragons, offering them sacrifices and tributes as a show of gratitude for their protection and blessings. They believed that by doing so, they would ensure the continued prosperity and harmony of their land. The dragons were said to be pleased by these offerings and would occasionally bestow gifts of magic or wisdom upon those who followed their teachings.
However, with the arrival of new peoples, bearing their own gods and beliefs, the influence of the song dragons began to wane. The ancient rituals and practices surrounding their worship were slowly forgotten and lost to the ages. As time marched on, the sound of the Twilight Song faded, and tales of the dragons became nothing more than legends, whispered only by the elders who had never seen these wondrous creatures for themselves.
The Twilight Song is a sacred melody, a lullaby that honors the beauty of all creation. As its keeper, I invite you to join me in this ritual, to allow yourselves to be lulled by its harmony and embrace the peace and tranquility of the evening.
