Celestials

Leave us in peace

Creation of Celestials

The Celestials were beings of a product of the various Gods' laziness in dealing with 'maintaining' the peace within Solarium and thus, birthed the celestials as beings to do their bidding while they do what they do best, nothing.

Celestials

The Celestials themselves take on different shapes and form but are mostly of human stature. They exist on both the celestial plane and the mortal plane and can be summoned by various forms if they are summonable and reside with the humans most of the time. Their main jobs are to protect the factions that they have been assigned to after the War of the Celestials.   The Main Celestials are as follows
Sitan: Celestial of the Deserts
Scealyen: Celesital of the Waters
Scechael: Celestial of the Waters
Grace: Celestial of the Mountains
Daedin: Celestial of the Night
Ellesa: Celestial of the Forests
Ni'h: Celestial of Light
Enout: Celestial of Fire
Fral: Celestial of Joy
Druti: Celestial of Snow
Rinden: Celestial of Chaos

The War of the Celestials

They called it the Age of Chaos. Humanity had been living in peace through the Age of Enlightenment but however, Rinden had other plans. Through his abilities to shapeshift, he had tricked his uncle Anam to assume that the armies of the ocean were going to attack the Empire of the Skies and thus to hand over the inventory of weapons. Out of jealousy, he devised a plan with his father Arul as a plot to take over the oceans and raise the islands to create floating islands and rule over them as a celestial as he was not assigned a faction to watch over initially. This ended in a full-on war with the armies of the oceans defending themselves and thus, there was a draught of food for the people of Solarium and especially, the economy which affected the attitude and behaviour of the people of Solarium. The plan was for Rinden to ambush and kidnap the celestial and daughter of Tolri , Scechael as a method to lure him out and surrender his army in return for his daughter. However, it proved that Scechael as the general of the armies of the ocean had formidable fighting skills, she had managed to escape albeit badly wounded to alarm the armies of the oceans of the imminent attack and to react accordingly. Together with the armies of the ocean, they managed to defend against the full-scale attack from Rinden however in the midst of the war, Rinden managed to escape and run off into hiding in Solarium.   Enout and Fral which provided the firepower to Rinden as well as Daedin which provided backup firepower.   Ellesa, Scealyen and Scechael fought valiantly beside their father Tolri and as they say, a celestial is no match for a God, no matter how crafty they think they are.

Post-war of the Celestials

The armies of the oceans managed to defend against the ambush by Rinden with his angels of the skies. However, due to the kidnap of Scechael, she has been badly wounded and is currently in recovery while also brushing up her training back into fighting form.     The other celestials were furious that the peace was disturbed on Solarium and thus, all celestials that were not involved in the War of the Celestials have a general disdain for their fellow Celestials and are sort of at a cold war with them.

The Gods were very upset with the actions of Arul and they created a cosmic celestial prison beyond the reach of mortals that they have locked him in. He is to remain there indefinately as decided by the council of the Gods.
