Factions

The only Region,without a Faction, is SiTara. It is because this is the Region the Kingdom Royals and Crowned Head(s) govern specifically. It is the Capital Region for the Kingdom of NereidLykandos.

Government

The deliberative assembly of each Faction is the Phylarch, Officer and Soldiers.

  The Phylarch has the authority to make Laws within the Faction they govern. Laws enacted by the Faction's deliberative assembly (Officers), are known as Faction Laws. In addition, the deliberative assembly of each Faction, may observe and steer governing actions, with authority to amend the budget involved. The members of each deliberative assembly , are elected through appointment by the executive. This means, you have to earn your way to advancements in Ranks and Job positions. Though the specific Laws for each Faction differ by Region, they all aim to serve the same purpose of appointing officials to represent their members, to determine appropriate governing for that Faction.

Defences

The Militaris in each Region is set up as follows:

  The defense of your Region (in the case of a Raid) is based on a point system. Each member holds a Rank, each Rank has a number. This number equals your hit points as well as your defensive points. These Rank numbers are as follows:

Phylarch - Soldier = 5,000 (per Soldier within Faction)

Plebiean - Commoner = 1,000 (per Commoner)
  1. 4.
Plebiean - Merchant = 2,000 (per Merchant)
  1. 5.
Plebiean - Market Owner = 3,000 (per Market Owner)
  In a Raid, the Raiding Faction will have the Hit Point number and the Defending Faction will have the Defensive number. Raids are won by numbers.

Industry & Trade

Factions move their Raw Resources and Created Wares between a network of Markets and Shops. The Marketports, between Factions, are set up in areas designated on the Regions Map. These Faction Market markers are set up to host Faction Markets that wish to sell or buy Raw Resources and Created Wares between Factions. By clicking on them, on the maps, you will be given Dates and Times when these Markets will be open for business. Your Faction Market is not allowed to buy or sell within these Markets, unless it is during the times set (these times will also be posted on the Kingdom Calendar, located on the Shivtr Website). Individuals may visit the Marketports (in rp), but are not allowed to purchase or sell items. Underground Markets are the only Market in which Individuals and Merchants can sell and purchase their rare Raw Resources and rare Created Wares. Shops are designed for Individual's purchases and sales, within the specified Faction. You can find the specific Shops in the specified Faction's Inner City. Look on the Maps. Or on the Shivtr website forum, under "Shops".

Infrastructure

When a Phylarch is appointed to govern over a Faction, they are given (each of) the following;

1 of each small size and specific deposit, including: Underground, Surface, Placer and In-situ  
  • Farms:
2 pre-set to small, rendering 3 crops per field  
  • Vincula:
1 Jail for criminals  
  • Hunting Ground:
1 pre-set to small  
  • Fiscus:
1 per Faction  
  • Bibliotheca:
1 per Faction  
  • Ludi Litterarii:
1 per Faction  
  • 4 Markets:

The assets of each Faction is based on the Raw Resources provided, according to the Region the Faction resides in.

- Mountain Region     Of the remaining 5 Regions (excluding SiTara, the Region the Kingdom Royals reside in and govern), each are ruled by a Faction that over-sees the stability, growth and development of the entire Region. Faction Leaders are called Phylarchs. Each Phylarch may choose to appoint 1 (one) Officer to their Faction, who will then govern the Faction Fiscus. This Officer may then choose to appoint a single Solider to over-see the economic stability and growth of each Faction owned Business. All remaining members within the Faction are called Plebieans or Children. Pleabians are the Commoners, Merchants and Market Owners within the Faction. Children are any member of the Kingdom, under the age of 16 (irl).
