The VIllage
the village is the base of the first few adventures, and is a completely isolated Elven village, though a group of Kitsune(see ethnicity) live nearby. the people of the village are simple hunters and gatherers, and do not care for the outside world.

The village uses a socialist-style industry where everyone gets a small amount, but to get more, they must work for it. for example, hunters receive a portion of grain and fruit, but do not get meat or hunting implements unless they hunt, in which case they receive tools and a share of meat from their hunts.

basic blacksmith forge, mill, and music hall.

Valuables: various masterwork musical instruments, Peacekeeper's blade(see items)
Equipment available: non-masterwork weapons(simple and martial), basic adventuring equipment.
stores: grain and other foods. small amounts of money.
Guilds and Factions
people are mostly grouped by profession, with each faction tending to keep to themselves. each group tends to give a share of their goods to the village, and takes what they need to survive that they cannot produce in return.
History
the village has been isolated for so long that it has been erased from local memory that anything exists outside the village except for the forest.
Architecture
most buildings inside the village are grown out of trees, with parts added on as needed.
Geography
the village is set in the middle of a forest a week's travel by horse to the nearest exit. the trees grow tall and thick, with light seldom filtering down to the forest floor.
Natural Resources
wood is in abundance, and nearby streams are full of fish. clearings in the forest contain hearty wheat and wild rice, and deer, rabbits, and pheasants are attracted to the clearings in abundance.
