Spire Dormitory #3 meets with Esi to learn about the Tempest Sun Mages. They are tasked with removing some gremlin trouble makers from a nearby supply building. They are reminded that Magabyaa prefers nonlethal combat unless someone is actually threatened.

The cohort meets Esi at dawn, there she informs them on the purpose of the Tempest Sun Mages. A branch that defends Nantambu and the poeple around the city from outside threats, both big and small. She tasks the cohort with the removal of a few gremlin pests. Esi does remind them that Magaambya doesn't approve of killing anyone for just who they are. If pushed the faculty will expell students for it as its happened before. Esi identifies the gremlins as pugwampis, a gremlin known to cause misfortune to nearby creatures. The cohort recalls some knowledge about the pugs, realizing they have an aversion to small bells made of semiprecious metals. They are able to buy a few silver bells from the Powderpile, they also buy a few burlap bags as well to help control the tiny creatures. After a few hours of preparation the cohort makes their way to the storage barn. They place some of their bells on the front door to stop any gremlins from escaping before find the door the gremlins should be behind, currently barred with a broom handle. The group carefully place some bells across the doors just in case and enter the room. The Pugs are hiding within the shelves of the storage room and immediately begin to throw ceramic jars filled with water and dusts. The jars do little damage but are very annoying. The first few in the room are able to corner a few of the gremlins, but the pests try to rehide in the large room. Until Kharemesh enters the room and all the gremlins freeze in place. Kharemesh is a Gnoll, he is immune to the pugs misfortune and they are absolutely terrified of him. To the point that after he gets one of the tiny creatures in his mouth, the rest surrender and get in the burlap bags the cohort brought with them. The party takes the gremlins out past the city limits before releasing them.
