Soul Star

I want my world to reflect the universe in which it takes place. It is a mix of high fantasy flavored by pop cultural influences such as trouser planet, adventures of the seeker tv series, lord of the rings, the tv series shear, and the book of the damned movie. Below you will find an example of what you can expect of my style of storytelling:   We find ourself drifting through the clouds down slowly as the air sailing ship Star breeze crest its way through them softly toward our last port of call. The ship makes its way down out of the stratosphere, as it does so you can make out a massive city set off in the distance, growing ever so slightly larger than our ship comes closer. The folks above deck smell the sweat air that surrounds this great city; it's a mixture of mountain breeze mixed with a smell of a rain swept forest and just a kiss of meadow planes with a twist of aired desert dunes. The first-hand yells out on the deck above all passengers of the HMS star breeze prepare for arrival; The ship will come into the sky port of sharia in 15 minutes. The captain is making his last pass, and he is waiting on a last signal from the control power to work our way doc side.   As we turn our heads back toward the city; A green beacon shines in the direction of the star breeze, signaling for it to make its way into port for docking. You feel the deck beneath your feet lurch as the ship shoots off toward its docking point.The captain smirks as it takes a bit of gracefulness to do this task, but he does it with such ease for him it is like a soft dance with bar maiden. The post say's there's an going murder rampage that been going on for quite some time now, and the district guard by order of the mother confessor in the mountain district is offering 3000 gold for information leading the arken slasher arrest. It looks like they is another 6000 gold in it if they bring the suspect in for questing. They want him caught dead or alive with evidence proving the person is the mass killer of the arken quarter. It also looks there wanted poster from the thieves' guild; hmm odd it's rare you think to yourself since there is few who would ticket off a band of robbers in a town this large. It appears the guild is ticket off someone messing around with their business. it looks like the guild is offering 600 gold for information leading or having this person brought to them. there is also another 800 gold from the mountain district guard for this same burglar; I bet this might be the person the thief's guild is mad at for messing with their jobs. Hmm, there is a person has been stilling high-value magic items in the arken subdivision. Well then, it looks like there might be a few ways we could make some good money in this town if we put our heades togeather. But you feel it might be best to head over to the infamous blushing unicorn first, as its why we took this vacation anyways to get away from your troubles at home. plus it's in the district where most of this wanted posters talk about anyway. You smirk maybe ill solve the mystery of the arken slash on my way over there by bumping into hmm; I mean what are the oldd other one.
