Officer (retired) Jorum Black (a.k.a. Old Guard (Group))

Jorum was only 10 when the war that would consume his entire existence started. For seven years he served in various rolls, starting out as a stable boy. He worked up the ranks from Foot Soldier. He turned Mercenary once the armistice was signed, working for a large group called The Stalwart Blades, eventually working up to the military equivalent of Officer at the age of 50. When Jorum was told that his service was to end and that he should live the remainder of his life in peace, he thought to himself "Peace?" what other than the word did Jorum know, he knew war, he knew killing, he knew service. It wasn't until he stumbled upon a wandering pilgrim did he learn what peace meant. The pilgrim, Jorum grew to learn this man's name was Seroc Leggatt, a high elf of all things, taught him to settle his mind, to channel this... mysterious force called Ki. With this power he has decided to set out on a journey, the only weapons he carried were his old oaken training sword and a few throwing knives. Determined to find a place to settle and to set people upon the path of peace.

Jorum, a human of 80 years old, has lived his entire adult life in conflict. He wishes to no longer kill his enemies (humanoids), if he can help it. He will not stop others from killing but he can't bring himself to do it.
