SAFU
SAG has founded the Space Adventurer's Fleet University, also known as SAFU to futher their goals of Astral Plane exploration. SAFU is the institute for anyone with an adventurous mind who would like to explore the Astral Plane. At SAFU students can train their fighting skills, improve their arcane knowledge, master the fine arts of intergalactic diplomacy or study the exotic flora and fauna of planes recently discovered. Part of the curriculum is also Spelljamming aerodynamics and flight training.
Students of SAFU are assigned to one of 17 spelljamming campuses where they study theory, but also bring that directly into practice as they fly through the Astral Plane. A
Spelljamming campus is equipped with everything a SAFU student might need. There are lecture halls, study areas, laboratories, dorms, a park, bars, stores and even simulation halls. There are many such Spelljamming campuses flying through different parts of the Astral Plane, the Astral Plane is a fast expanse however, and it's unlikely that two campuses would cross each other's paths unless they plan to. One of these campuses is SAFU Campus 4.
Students from SAFU come from all corners of Wildspace and the Astral Plane. They sign up and get tested through one of the SAG offices near them. In these trials the applicant’s arcane promise, mental fortitude and physical prowess are tested. The tests are quite rigorous and only the most promising are accepted to SAFU. Because of the dangerous nature of the adventures, applicants need to be at least 18 years old.
