Donorian Traditional Fashion
Traditional Donorian fashion is the historical clothing of the Donorian culture, often only modernly worn during cultural celebrations or certain formal events.
Donorian traditional garments often are wrapped and tied in place, or more modernly buttoned or snapped closed, at the side of the chest rather than having all the sides sewn closed.
V-shaped Necklines are common, especially for outer clothes.
The shirt may be worn over or under the skirt. Pants are often worn under the shirt.
Short loose jackets or vests are commonly worn as an overlayer with almost every outfit.
These outer layers often have a v-shaped neckline, with the ties starting lower on the body than the base layers.
Flats may also be worn, often for more wealthy or formal wear. They are often more decorative and are made of leather.
These shoes could have simple leather soles or wooden soles. Those with wooden soles could be made into platform shoes by having thicker -often intricate carved- soles that raise the person off the ground. The platforms could alternatively be a separate piece that could be strapped on over a person's regular shoes.
These headbands and headwear are still commonly worn and are one of the most continuous aspects of donorian traditional clothing.
