The Union of Socialist Systems is founded

Founding

Following years of oppression by the Colonial Earth Empire, a group of like minded outer rim senators, delegates, workers, governors, union leaders, and pop culture figures all formally seceded from the Colonial Earth Empire. They take advantage of the civil war plaguing Imperial Forces, and unify the systems mostly in Sovereign Space.
  In retaliation the Empire instantly deployed the navy to the outer rim, however they nothing could have prepared the imperials for the ambush they would face. Having prepared for years, the USS had captured and built warships in secret, preparing for this inevitability.
  When the imperial fleet jumped into the Mari'desh System, the Red Fleet pounced. Ripping apart a chunk of the Imperial fleet in one swoop gave the new systems room to breath and build up a larger network of defense.
  For decades, the Second Crusades would prove to be the crucible of the Union, and towards the end of the Crusades, the Union of Socialist Systems had begun to push far into Pacifica, before a truce was drawn up.
  This would not mean total peace, as regular skirmishes against Corps under Imperial protection regularly occurred with the Union.
