Quantum Web Drive

The Quantum Web Drive is the basis of current space travel. Working in tandem with Microscale Warp Drives it gives thrust necessary to surf on the warp waves. It requires nothing more than just electricity as it propels the spacecraft by "latching" onto the Quantum Stream that happens within the Quantum Web. This drive alone does not generate enough thrust to realistically give any reasonable speed to a spacecraft and is most often built into current Microscale Warp Drives.

Utility

It is used in tandem with Microscale Warp Engines to achieve significant sublight speeds.

Manufacturing

Quantum Web Drive requires an advanced manufacturing complex while also requiring non-trivial amounts of rare earth metals.

It is used in every sort of spacecraft for sublight travel.

Complexity

It is as complicated to make as jet engines are to us today.

It was created based on the Quantum Web theory recovered from during the 'Messenger' Incident.
