Gorgon

Hhhik’ch

Gorgons are reptilian sophonts from the far east of Sikano. While they do not turn others to stone, as told in myths, their bite is mildly venomous and can paralyze smaller sophonts such as gnomes or tengu. The three tribes of gorgons are, collectively, a prominent world power, particularly in their native region.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Innate Traits

Venomous
You are blessed with a gift unique among sophonts: corrosive venom. Your biting attack does +2 poison damage in addition to the standard 1d4 piercing damage, and you can spit your venom as a ranged attack up to 10 feet for 2 damage. Poisoned enemies also take 1 damage every round.

Cold-Blooded
Your species is one of the only ectothermic sophont species in the world, which means that you are highly susceptible to the cold. Your movement decreases by 10 feet for every 5-degree drop in temperature, and if hit in combat, you take one additional damage point if the hit is freezing.
