Driaokvalxioneeka 'Dreadwing' Emberscar
Lord Driaokvalxioneeka Emberscar (a.k.a. Dreadwing)
House Emberscars fearsome patriarch, Driaokvalxioneeka 'Dreadwing' Emberscar is a legend among the dragons of the Azi Empire and beyond. Forming his own clan of dragons on the sphere of Arnyekfold, he joined the empire at the behest of its Emperor and was awarded with rulership of the imperial army.
A veteran of dozens of campaigns and many more smaller missions, Dreadwing has more than earned his titel name, having sent entire armies running for the hills with little more than his shadow. He's masterminded many of the Azi Empire's successes and looks to other spheres for new oppertunities to expand his nation's borders.
Off work, Dreadwing and his mate, Hirzioniiakenxaen 'Hooktail' Emberscar, lead a large family of dragons whom they love and care for. While he still enjoys spooking his kids and has never played favourites when it comes to their military service, woe to anyone who'd hurt someone he loves.
Battle, to Dreadwing, is as psychological and it is physical. He often seeks to resolve conflicts before they begin by intimidating enemies into compliance. Should that fail, and it rarely does, Dreadwing will without hesitation unleash his full arsenal of magical might and physical supremacy, combined with a terrifying ability to blunt even the hardest attack with his unyielding scales.

Dreadwing is supernaturally insightful into others, capable of gleaming much from but a glance, taking measure of their character and skill.
Beyond the training she granted him, Sagax has also further blessed his insight, allowing him to occasionally know things he should have no chance to learn. She's also blessed his skills at manipulating, such that event always lean more towards success than failure whenever Dreadwing has a claw in the proceedings.

Personal history
In the year 156 AIT, Driaokvalxioneeka hatched to the balefire dragons Anynthassus "Doomblaze" and Pummosslyrmae "Lady of the Dark". The young dragon soon took to exploring his parent's domain, beginning his career by intimidating local peasents and travellers into handing over treats and, later on, to answer his questions of the wider world.
In 163 AIT, Driaokvalxioneeka met Yvrusunnie and Fretinthpoandrith, two young dragons from neighbouring territories. After a initial bout of posturing and fighting, they established tehir own hierachy and became good friends.
This friendship would only be strengthened by the events of 189 AIT. Humans, gathered under the banner of Juana Sanders, lead a campaign against the dragons of the area. Driaokvalxioneeka managed, at great risk to himself, to save his two friends from a band of hunters. The battle ended with a siege of Driaokvalxioneeka's family's den, which after a fight that saw Anynthassus and Juana clash in mortal combat, which ended with the dragons having to abandon their territory.
In 214 AIT, Driaokvalxioneeka moved out of his family's territory to establish his own, alongside his two friends. Having been chased out by the combined might of the local humans, the young dragon hit upon an idea. If he could do something similar, if he could gather other dragons under his banner, he would be able to hold and manage a much vaster territory.
In 476 AIT, an honest assesment was that the idea had not gone off too well. WHile a few dragons had been intimidated into following, many saw as weak and he found his rule continually challenged. He ended up seeking out a shrine to the draconic goddes Sagax, begging for help. The deity took interest in Driaokvalxioneeka's plan and manifested an avatar, to teach him the art of leadership.
In 988 AIT, having managed to gather quite a few loyal followers, he laid siege to Kődombvar and managed to oust its vampire ruler, Silas Sanders. He renamed the fortress to Alkonyvar. From there, he claimed all surrounding land, soon after earning the name Dreadwing.
In 1273 AIT, with his group of dragon followers having significantly expanded, he took the last name Emberscar and declared those who served under him as being part of Clan Emberscar.
In 1333 AIT, the dragon Hirzioniiakenxaen "Hooktail" found and challenged Dreadwing to a battle. The exact outcome of their fight is unknown to any but them, Yvrusunnie and Fretinthpoandrith. What is known is that both were severely mangled and impressed by the outcome, which blossomed into a romance.
In 1782 AIT, a most peculiar guest arrived in their territories, a demi dragon named Iraynjadry. He had founded the beginning of a dragon nation and had heard of Dreadwing's success in getting multiple dragons under his employ. Iraynjadry therefore wished to negotiate for him joining the Azi Empire. Dreadwing, intruiged by the potential, agreed with very few stipulations, accepting a subordinate role that played more to his own strengths. Thus the Emberscar Clan became House Emberscar and was given the responsibility of handling all matters military.
In 2699 AIT, Dreadwing and Hooktail had their first kid, soon to be followed by others.
