Swamp Troll
Adapted to the wetlands and mires of the world, swamp trolls are one of the more common adaptions among troll-kind. Their thick fur both protects them from the murky waters they swim in and traps the water, serving as extra defense against the dreaded fire.
Swamp trolls, like all trolls, are capable of consuming anything organic they can fit in their mouth. But swamp trolls in particular have a longstanding tradition for cooking, with family recipes often being passed down along family lines. These recipes utilize the natural ressources of the particular swamp the trolls live in. Given the wide array of things trolls can consume, these delicious dishes can none the less be quite the hardy fare for the unprepared.
Swamp trolls are not afraid of a good brawl. If in a serious fight, they prefer to fight in muddy or watery terrain, where their enemies will have their mobility hampered. Tough opponents are usually weighed down into the murk to drown. The final fate of those who fall to a swamp troll is to be dragged off and turned into dinner.
