Councilor

The Councilor is the most senior position in the Exodite hierarchy, and the chamber of elder elves that form the Exodite Council have effectively unlimited power in Exodus. As long as the council agrees, their word is law. The council's numbers replenished by existing councilors inviting other distinguished elves to join their ranks, and typically councilors retain their position until death or in some cases voluntary retirement.

Duties

A councilor meets with other councilors to discuss reports given to them by lower-ranking Exodites, give orders and instruction, and to write laws. The councilors as a whole exercise no less than total power and responsibility over the elven state.

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal

A councilor may be removed by unanimous consent of other councilors.
