The Garden of Elvala

According to western religious traditions, Elvala was the the original Eden-like home of the first created human beings, Ule and Ména. The name means: “God’s Estate” or “God’s Pasture” with the connotation of an intentionally enclosed and protected area. The garden of Elvala was said to centrally located within the larger ancient lands of Arkhea, surrounding the ancient Mountain of God (the original source of ethereal power in the newly created world).
Rising above Elvala, descending upon the Mountian of God are the Celestial Falls. Metaphorically described as an ethereal “waterfall” falling down from the heavens, the Celestial Falls were the original Source of ethereal power in the world. The falls provided a direct connection between the physical (earthly) realm below and the spiritual (heavenly) realm above.
The Celestial Falls allowed supernatural spirits to move back and forth freely between the realms. However, this privilege was something expressly denied to the first humans. At the time of the the Severance (the Arkhean Cataclysm), as a response to the violation of this edict in the Doomed Ascent, God poured out an ethereal deluge through the celestial falls that flooded the entire world with ethereal radiation.
