A vampire from Clan Malkavian. He doesn't remember much about his life prior to his Embrace, but he relies on voices from payphones, conspiracy corkboards, and a mysterious black book to fill in the gaps in his knowledge. In the winter of '94 he was in Los Angeles, helping some older vampires like Ezekiel Cartwright and Gilda Frost on their quest to gain more influence in the city.
He learned more about his missing memories from LA's Seneschal Opal, discovering that he was embraced several years ago in Miami. When Ezekiel and Kate Li murdered Opal on Christmas Eve '94 he vanished from the scene to continue his pursuit of knowledge. He resurfaced in San Francisco in January '95 to keep an eye on a newly awakened mage named Tanya who'd become his touchstone, but after a dire warning warning from a fellow Malkavian he decided to continue heading north towards Seattle.
