Monique Cruz

A female barista originally from New Mexico. She was working in Grand Junction, Colorado, when the Mc40's investigated a series of disappearances connected to the local car deal Randy McRandy in September of '93. Heather Donovan encouraged her to return home to Alamogordo, New Mexico, to escape the dangers of Grand Junction, but two months later the Mc40's appeared in her hometown to investigate another supernatural threat. She drove the team to the south side of town in the middle of them to help them retrieve SCP-2273, but when it came time to move the SCP back to Site 40 Monique threatened Heather at gunpoint and demanded to take the SCP for herself. In the fall she appears to have joined a mysterious organization that sought to study and use SCP-2273 for their own purposes, keeping tabs on the Mc40's during their stay in Alamogordo. The standoff ended when Monique fired a shot at Heather, leading Kat Davis to return fire with a well-placed that killed the barista instantly. She was killed the day before Thanksgiving.
