FMCI Member
The FMCI operates as a secret organization in Sprawn Valley for high-profile cases only, using a wide variety of tactics for data collection against any potential threat to society. They are the near equivalent to the United States CIA, and many operations and internal operation tactics were said to be inspired by one another. The FMCI does not have authorization to conduct investigations in other countries, by law of those other nations. Any operation that does take place would have to be a highly guarded secret.
Many Leray agents aspire to become full time members of the FMCI, but the curriculum and change in life style is very tough, and the organization can only support a certain number of elite members.
Qualifications
Highly trained officer.
Requirements
FMCI members must undergo lots of training and conduct comprehensive research into criminology, technology, and privacy standards before they are recommended for the field.
Duties
FMCI members, when operating in any investigation outside of the town of Cheyenne must use their assigned alias, and never reveal their real name and credientials to ordinary Leray agents or members of the public. FMCI members carry out high-profile investigations in Sprawn Valley, for both citizens and immigrants to build cases agianst suspected or known crimials. They must enforce the law by carefully constructing a solid report that will hold up in any court case through the mage council's judicial hearing chamber.
Responsibilities
FMCI members operate on high-profile cases only, using their higher level of training and professionalism to make life easier on the Leray agency. FMCI mostly operate undercover, using programmed aliases and special badges for whatever task they need. They are the national level defense against criminals in Sprawn Valley, not by means of military force, but by comprehensive investigation and personal profiling. Complete cases are then sent to the General Army and tower mages so that assistance can be provided if necessary to stop an imminent threat or make a more dangerous arrest.
Benefits
FMCI members have better quality of personal life compared to ordinary Leray agents, with exception to social publicity. However, the organization is a strict hierarchy, and maximum membership numbers are set so that the department can handle itself without the direct involvement of other organizations. FMCI members are often kept busy working in weeks over 40 hours, and are required to live in the town of Cheyenne.
