Referee
Leray referees closely watch important battles from just outside the Siriean dome to ensure and determine if special rules are being followed. Certain battles may begin or end based on parameters that are abnormal but preset and consented to. It is the job of referees to call out any invalid or illegal action during a battle, a job that becomes more important as does the event. Referees outside of Eldora Tower do not obtained a fixed wage; they must share with thier assigned wielder or gradyent.
In all Leray matches, unless disputed through a complicated legal system, the referee's calling on the victor of a battle is absolute.
Culture
Referees are honored in society, and feared by those who would try to cheat the rules of the veil or Siriean dome.
Assets
Dark Magic Measurement Systems (DMMS): An expensive device that works with the veil to detect in the localized area of a specific Siriean dome whether or not dark magic was invoked. The best referees need these devices to determine if it is ever possible to use dark magic while hiding it from visual sight, examples of such happening with spells that obscure the view of such wielders.
