Weapon: Elemental Staff

This staff is an iteration design of an existing crystal staff, but with different effects. Elemental Staffs offer no protection, other than a natural ability such as Electric Bane. Elemental staffs work by amplification of magical spells, but the crystal used is a combined gem capable of concentrating multiple elements that relate to Leray magic. Thus, magic spells used with this staff are amplified in power level by a factor of 70%, but only for spells using elemental properties. Spells that invoke Light Elemental magic, Non-Elemental magic, or Dark Magic will not be amplified by this staff. Wielders who use Elemental Staffs in Leray battles are not allowed to hold another weapon at a time during that battle. The special crystal at the core of the staff works with a feedback aura that behaves as an extension of that wielder's magical circuits, forcing most magical spells to be cast through the end of this staff.

Significance

Elemental staffs have one focus; greatly amplifying the power level for all elemental spells used through the special crystal. A wielder using this will easily overpower opposing spells that have specific elemental properties. Staffs when used in most Leray battles cannot be swapped out for other weapons, and cannot ever be obtained through the use of generation glyphrings.

Elemental Staffs are less common than crystal staffs or absorber staffs, and often require a lot more training for wielders to use them properly in battle. The best Leray shops will have these on occasion, but only in small selling quantities.
