292 - The Great Tri-City Cat War
The cats in Tri-City think they own the apartment buildings. It is sort of a metaphor for landlords or something.
They are rather territorial and expect the people who live in their building to feed them.
If another cat comes to that cat's apartment building, a fight generally happens. You can't just take food from another cat's humans.
The cats on different sides of the streets form alliances and help protect each other's real estate.
This eventually leads to 'The Great Tri-City Cat War' when two large groups assimilate most of the smaller groups and then run out of space to expand.
For the next month people in Tri-City are woken up at night by the sounds of cats screaming at each other and fighting in the streets.
When a Tri-City Trading delvery man crashed his cargo bike carrying a shippment of salmon from The Delta, the Great Tri-City Cat War abruptly ended as all the cats were too busy eating the resulting mess.
