Doctor Adinor Savin (a.k.a. Doc)

Once a well-respected and accomplished researcher within the Republic, then subsequently Imperial Academy on Coruscant, Doctor Savin spent much of his career focused on the harnessing and focusing of energy sources. A prolific professor, three generations of students were exposed to his teachings and theories while passing through the academy.
Shortly before the deployment of the Death Star at Alderaan, Adinor was removed from his position at the academy and drafted into the Imperial Research corps. After a two-year stint within the organization, Savin managed to escape, making his way into the hands of the Rebel Alliance.
Following the battle of Hoth, the Doctor’s skill set was deemed as valuable to the investigation and destruction of the Imperial Super-Weapon known as the Eclipse.
He was assigned to Black Squadron with the hope that such skills would prove essential in their mission. Unknown to any in the Alliance at that time, Doctor Savin had previous knowledge regarding the ship.
