General Summary
Two: Across the Wastes
The next morning, Mir explains that the strange entities made of scrap began appearing about 2 weeks ago, hunting after anyone that goes near the temple in the wastes. He does not recall his trance-like episode from the night before. However, he draws the skull shape again, and explains it is possible it came from a vision he had previously as he ran from the temple.
Maeve meditates on the drawing and is reminded of something from her previous study of the Sith about an ancient Sith Lord that existed outside of the force. She is reminded of the item she was sent to find and investigate by Master Yoda prior to the execution of the Jedi.
The group sets out toward the temple. The trek leads them into the paths of turrets, junk droids, and behemoths. An attempt to sneak past the danger is not successful, but the group manages to eliminate the threats. Encountering a second group of droids, the group is more successful in sneaking around to avoid combat.
When they arrive at the temple, they discover a console and generators powering it. Attempting to disconnect the power reveals that it is all held together by the force. Eventually the party disables the generators and use the console to open the temple doors.
Whatever is guarding the temple does not want visitors. Wind gathers, swirling together pieces of scrap and junk, forming a large titan with an orb of Force in its chest. The jedi can sense it is being held together and manipulated via the Force, but unable to find the source. After a tough battle, the group readies themselves to enter the temple.
