Tychus is a member of Clan Farr, which homeworld is Dromund Kaas.
He believes in the Mandalorian ways of old and is ashamed of the way many of the Mandalorian clans are now and longs for the day when Clan Farr can show the other Mandalorian Clans the way of the true mandalor's and he see's the Republic as weak and corrupt....
It needs a new leader that is strong and that can reshape it into a strong and powerfull entity once more.
"--Strength is life, for the strong have the right to rule.
--Honor is life, for with no honor one may as well be dead.
--Loyalty is life, for without one's clan one has no purpose.
--Death is life, one should die as they have lived."
Tychus's Father is a man-at-arms trainer and takes great pride in training the new generation of Clan Farr warriors, he was once a skilled adventurer but after an accident involving lots of explosives and a tumbled wall his legs was badly injured and he "retired" as a drill instructor.
His Mother is a Former Sniper now turned to the Master Tech Specialist proffesion and she trained his sister i the art of being a sniper
Tychus has a sister Bo-Katan, who he holds very dear and as they grew up they were almost as twins never far from each others side and always had each others backs and her ability as a warrior is as good as his , where he is more a direct assault fighter, she´s a fighter of the shadows and sniper.
The apple of his eye is his niece Sabine. She is the only one in the Galaxy where he feels its natural to remove his helmet for and dispite her young age she knows the creed* Tychus lives by and that he never thinks twice about removing his helmet around her,
and as he left Dromund Kaas all he said to Sabine was "I'll be Back" and gave her a Beskar Steel forged mythosaur skull sigil so she knew he would keep that promise.
"This armor is part of our identity. It makes us Mandalorians who we are." |
There is nothing he wouldent do for her or to keep her or his sister safe, The promise to keep them safe he made when Sabine was born and he will keep it for as long as stars do shine.
Tychus havent seen his Uncle for some years and does not know where he is or what he is up to, but he knows from what his father has told him and the few times he has seen his uncle that he is a great warrior and is rumored to be a member of the Death watch.
Tychus knows that if he is to be worthy of the ways of old he must explore the galaxy and build up his reputation and fighting skills...
But as he set out, his luck failed him and he ended up on the planet of Naboo and took a what he thought was a easy merc job , though he had to share it with 2 kids, that he now know are jedi-padawans and soon to be knight and to make it worse the planet was invaded by the trade federation and after some odd jobs, he could finally leave it again to explore the galaxy.
The only good thing he takes with him from that planet, was an old Mandalorian Chest plate made of the Beskar steel which he seeks to craft a full set of armor.
"It is amazing how beautiful beskar can be when forged by its ancestral artisans." |
So Tychus traveles with the two jedi-padawans (soon to be knights) and he plans to use it to gain knowledge in how the jedi fight, and hopes that the knowledge gained will help him survive if he should ever be at the recieving end of a lightsaber..
"If you know the enemy and know yourself you need not fear the results of a hundred battles" |
After a few adventures they picked up another force user to the crew, and this one is a strange one indeed, he has a pet of some sort that leeches of him and as they found out other force users also...
He is not sure what to make of this one but treats him as he does all force users.....with caution.
So the odd crew set's out for adventure in a ship called -The Coffin- mostly named due to the lack of Tychus's flying skills than the ship itself, while the focus is on the force and the disturbances in it or so the force users claim..
Tychus is not a beliver of it and shrugs of the notion that a invisible "force" decides his destiny..
He belives that he forges his own destiny.
Tychus is always keeping a eye out for Beskar Steel, be it either in the form of a armor piece of old or a steel ingot..
"The armor I wear is five hundred years old. I reforged it to my liking, but the battles, the history, the blood all lives within it. And the same goes for every Mandalorian." |
Tychus believes in a warriors death and a worthy foe must be given one , even if it means to leave a battle to let others fight it...
Mercy is not shown to the weak or tricksters in battle.. Only the strong are given it if they ask for it or is offered it..
When mercy is given then ones word of mercy is ones life
But being a Mandalorian who seeks the way of old, is a dangerous path, which Tychus is aware....
there is a time to fight and a time not to and it takes a true warrior to know which to choose.
"When one chooses to walk the Way of the Mandalore, you are both hunter and prey. How can one be a coward if one chooses this way of life?" |
But in the end everyone dies and all that is left is how one lived.
"They will die a death that will last millennia, until all that remains is their code, their history, and in the end, the shell of their armor upon the shell of a man, too easily slain by Jedi." |
--Kreia's prediction of the end of the Mandalorians-- |
And at times
A good death is its own reward |
Tychus Continued
Traveling with the 3 force users Tychus see’s their powers grow and especially the two Jedi Guardians and begins to wonder with their young age and already formidable killing power, how powerful is a fully trained Dark jedi or a Sith and does the Jedi Temple really know what they have let loose in the Galaxy?
And the 3rd force user Tychus wonders what’s his powers ??
He acts like a pacifist but Tychus have seen him use the force to strike objects and also people and how can one be a pacifist when wielding a power as the force, no there is more to Kael than he lets on...
