Hera Syndulla
After participating in the liberation of Lothal before the Battle of Yavin, Hera Syndulla returned to the Rebellion and served them in various capacities, including as commander of a starfighter training facility and eventually as the captain of the Mon Calamari cruiser Geist and its associated battle group. Syndulla was among those who felt betrayed when Mon Mothma and Leia Organa moved to seize control of the decapitated Empire after the Battle of Endor, and took her flagship and its support vessels to Lothal, to be put at the disposal of the planet she had worked so hard to free.
