Nyriaan

Nyriaan is an insignificant world in the Outer Rim that is habitable by Humanoids, but has never drawn any serious colonists. A note in the public records advises that anyone seeking to land avoid the smaller southern continent, even though it is the only inhabited part of the planet, as the locals are extremely hostile.

History

Recently, it has been revealed that followers of a Sith Lord named Darth Glovoc crash landed on the planet over 300 years ago. Their descendants now reside in a colection of small towns on the southern continent centered around a capital city which appears to be ruled by a theocracy which worships an entity they call The Slumbering God. Followers of the slumbering god appear to revere pain, and many of the cultists appear to have crude psychic powers allowing them to either cause pain, or gain power from suffering it themselves.
