Ronin Jedi

When the Jedi Council declared allegiance to the Republic on behalf of the Jedi Order, it was not an easy decision.  A large minority of the Jedi opposed the decision for various reasons, and a small portion of that minority opposed it strongly enough to renounce the authority and support of the Jedi Council in protest when the decision was finalized.  Those Jedi have been given the archaic label of Ronin by the council.  
Exactly what it means to be a Ronin Jedi is still a matter of debate, but the council has clearly stated that they may continue to claim the title of Jedi so long as they do not violate the Jedi code, or act against the interests of the Jedi Council.  The republic has issued an official statement about the Ronin Jedi saying simply that they have no special privileges or authority in the Republic.

Structure

The ronin Jedi operate as independants and are really only bound by their adherence to the Jedi code.
The only to acknowledged Jedi Masters to have joined the Ronin are Master Alize, and Master Kina Ha.
