Varactyl

Varactyls are a species of majestic, giant reptavian herbivores native to the world of Utapau. They typically have blue and green crests and feather ridges along their backs, and are incredibly loyal and obedient mounts.   Varactyls are a popular mount on Torunga due to their ability to process large amounts of heavy metals in their food. Feral veractyl have been a part of the planetary ecosystem for as long as most people can remember. Torungan veractyls are distinguished by their dull grey metallic hides, though they retain the colorful plumage of the original breed.
