Frenzied River Clan
A Dathomirian Witch clan whose original village on the planet Dathomir centered on the Frenzied River. They focused primarily on the Light Side of the Force.
Like the Singing Mountain Clan, members of Frenzied River Clan treated their domesticated rancor herds with compassion and dignity for many generations; as a result, many of the rancors around the Frenzied River were highly intelligent for their species. By the time that the Frenzied River Clan secretly hosted the remains of the Jedi Order in concealment from Palpatine's Galactic Empire, a dozen or so Frenzied River rancors wore tool belts and conversed in simplified Basic. When the combined Clan and Jedi Order evacuated to the Tapani Sector ahead of Imperial forces, they fought to include as many of the rancor herd as they could persuade to get aboard the Rebellion starships.
After more than seven years of concealment on the jungle moon Dendarii in the Pelagia Province, the new Rebel base was destroyed in adventure 1.21: "Come the Twilight". Somehow, despite Palpatine's careful arrangements to hide his nuclear payload hyperspace missiles from Force-sensitive awareness, a very large number of people who had been on Dendarii have since turned up alive in the Galaxy. Witch Hinalli and the other members of Frenzied River Clan must have somehow foreseen the devastation and gotten everyone out of the Dendarii System to a still-undisclosed location.
