Listoria
VNY's notes:
In the far corner of the Cadriaan Province, located in Listoria System, hosts a post-Long Night colony of Mentats who really like their glymph pie.
I could've sworn "listeria" was a strain of bacteria. Who names their planet for a misspelled bacterium?
They pay their shipping invoices cheerfully enough.

Holopedia Galactica entry:
Listoria is a frigid world in the Listoria System of Cadriaan Province in the Tapani Sector. It is recovering from an artificial "small ice age" created by missile strikes during the Twilight missile bombardment. Currently it hosts a Mentat colony which is working to remove the radiation and save as many native species as possible.
Glaciers are huge, frozen sheets of ice that can be several kilometers thick. Icebergs are chunks of glaciers that have been broken off and now float in oceans. Glaciers grind the land beneath them, constantly reforming it. Glaciers can occur on land, or above ocean.
It is within the standard gravity range of typical inhabited planets in the galaxy
Local days are twenty-six standard hours long.
Local years are three hundred ninety local days long.
Listoria has a Type I atmosphere: Breathable for most species. A type I atmosphere has a proper mixture of oxygen, nitrogen and other gases so that humans and most near-human species can breathe it unassisted. These atmospheres may have contaminants that over the long term have a detrimental effect.
The axis of the planet is offset approximately thirty degrees to the orbital plane, causing strong seasonal variation throughout the local year. Temperatures average -21 degrees Celsius or less, and are often inhospitable to most humans and many near-human species. The hydrosphere is moist, which means the planet is mostly covered with ice glaciers of varying thicknesses. Plant life may be common if it contains compounds that prevent vital water-based fluids from freezing. Detailed precautions should be taken by visitors.
The sentient population of Listoria was counted in the census of Tapani Year 12730 as 30 thousand, almost all of whom are 257th Clone Detachment colonists.
The planet is approximately twenty percent covered in land, and that is centered on the northern pole, but some land does stretch southward past the equator in the form of large islands and one very small near-continent.
The primary starport on Listoria, which is located at the equator on the largest ice-free island, is Standard Class. It is fully-staffed and equipped. Restocking services are available, and there is a small shipyard for minor repairs and modifications. Prices for repairs and modifications can be up to double normal prices, and take twice as long to accomplish. The colonists have their priorities in numerical order, and "visitors' woes" will seldom appear within the first hundred items.
