In charge of the beleaguered, undersupplied, and understaffed Lammax Station.

He really wishes people would, secondly, come in and fill out the flimsiwork associated with arresting the many pirates operating from the nearby pirate port; but firstly, he wishes he had about five full servings of "reinforcements". One of the disadvantages of the Freeworlds Territory splitting its government from the Vor is that, frankly, there're no spare graduates fresh out of the Imperial Academy with stars in their eyes and service in their hearts to help maintain the equipment, guard the prisoners, and process the red tape.
