Oh, right: So'Zen followed Aurra Sing into her "lair" at the Crimson Nova clubhouse, where he very wisely called for support before he continued negotiations.
And Vanya had an idea for how to provide said support:

So'Zen Al Saba got knocked unconscious in the Crimson Nova frathouse {it's not a frathouse!} but he'll be okay; a little meditation, a shower, a good meal, he'll be all right.
Aurra Sing has achieved the "arrested" event, which included the local authorities having to find the key to the jail and then clean out all the lowkey drunks. Several other Crimson Nova gang members are also arrested.
Trenloe came to make sure we knew that "Dinner With Derma" would now be "Late Lunch With Derma".
We're having a meal with a Hutt?!?

Either So'Zen or Vance?
I guess "Aerena" wouldn't make sense.
Derma the Hutt is the disenfranchised, exiled sibling of a Rogga who doesn't like his hobbies. Or his attitude toward employees. Or his haircut, I'm guessing. He wants us to help him get himself and his two employees away from the increasingly restrictive constraints of his sister's power. If we're willing to save all the slaves from the Crimson Nova, and free all the droids besides that, then we can help one dignified Hutt and his two staff.
And his orchids.
I have the great secret glee of flabbergasting a Hutt, when I tell him that he is responsible for all these little lives (that he loves so very much) so he had best get to packing 'em all up nice and snug for transport off the planet. It's the Right Thing To Do.
Majordomo Trenloe gives the silent impression that he is also delighted to see his boss set back on his tail, so to speak; and Trenloe will help scrounge up packing materials but is not going to do the actual transferring.
But we still have to deal with this Reaver capital ship, because Aerena Kolene can't get them to turn away all by herself.
Everybody gets very busy, dealing with components of the Reaver problem: Aerena and Spook lead the atmospheric battle. Vance organizes the ground-based locals into a defensive formation. So'Zen heads toward one end of the city -- seems like he's everywhere, is he speedrunning? -- and Vanya heads to the other end.
I'mma tank it.

What is So'Zen doing up here??
One of So'Zen's best things has always been the particular meditation called Sense Path. When he does that while focusing on the piece of the Kwi map which he hosts, he creates a hole in the universe. Does it go to hyperspace? Does it go somewhere else in our same universe? We dunno and we can't ask So'Zen, because he shoved all of us and the entire town of Port Etmar through the gap.
Now Port Etmar is next door to the Bendu Temple.
So.
That's a thing!
Oh, and in the process, So'Zen vanished inside the portal. Which moved up into low orbit. It glows, bright and shiny and green, and completely impossible to conceal or disguise or dial down.
