Composition
Manpower
A typical Night Hunting formation can range from 1 hunter to 10, with 1-5 person formations being the most common.
Equipment
The most important part of a Night Hunter's equipment is their torch. It serves many purposes, lighting the way while also warding off hostile animals.
Night Hunters also often carry an assortment of religious artefacts as well as cloves of garlic hung from their belts.
Weaponry
Night Hunters are unique hunters, as they don't carry a wooden sabre, instead, alongside their normal sword, they carry crossbows. This allows them to execute vampires from range.
History
The different branches of Night Hunters all have different roots, but the first recorded branch originated from the disgraced town of Murrot, east of Starfell. As the Church of the Lightbearer refused to send Holy Vampire Hunters to the town, people began to train themselves instead. These rogue cullers gained the name "Night Hunters" as they would always patrol at night to save manpower. As time went on, more and more Night Hunters began popping up in the towns anf villages, especially in farming settlements.
