Vagnus

Vagnus is a weird volcano planet in Atheragell system, composed of an entire ocean of lava with one giant continent, with above it thousands of flying islands thanks to Raysoning. The planet is known to produce most Voidglass production in the sector, but also is much known for the insane natural obstacles for the speedrunners and parkourers.

Geopolitic

Etat général de la politique locale actuellement. Despite having several factions here, there is no much troubles despite the possible aversion between some of them as all stay on their borders and don't try to expand there, except the local Aferchites. The planet is by now one of the economic and tourisitic poles between the races present here despite all possible tensions outside, mainly thanks to all the parkours and speedrunners that go there to challenge themselves.

Degor is the pack leader of Vagnus, a Afernarians settled there with his pack mainly composed of flying creatures, ground and underground creatures that can support lava with ease. His main role is to take care of the planet but also to extract the resources thrown up to the surface and then send it to Edraïstos for refining. His hives are either deep within the planet like ants and worms as some are between the islands and are linked to the lava ocean and half-flying hives linked to the islands.  

Amarion's Legacy

More detailed article : Grimms  Amarion founded his enterprise on Vagnus and was one of the first colons to settle there, he settled at Col-Galnier and gave the planet a good reputation. He was a Voidglass blower, with few metallurgy capacities. He was the first to officially produce the material and founded a real empire around it. He exported the Voidglass to the Qualiangr and the Grimms. Despite being dead now, his legacy remains, as some of his children took the enterprise back and expanded it on several key places, the enterprise remains the biggest Voidglass producer in Paranis.

Void Clan

More detailed article : Qualiangr  The Void clan is the name of the Qualiangr that settled here to create and refine the produced Voidglass by Amarion, they were in close partnership and the clan rapidly became part of his enterprise. The clan rapdily took importance within the Qualiangr by thoroughly trading and extended exchanges with the Magma Clan on Arleria , it finally became clear that both entities were bound to unite as their objectives were common even though they were different races, under the aegis of Amarion's Voidglass.

The Horn Of Degor

The Horn of Degor is the name given to the gigantic volcano on Vagnus in reference to Degor. The continent itself is above 15 million square kilometers composed of ancient magma flows, stabilized and kept assembled by his pack. The volcano itself does approximately 3 million square kilometers and reaches a very high size of 3 kilometers tall. The main Degor hive is located beneath the volcano chimneys, and himself rest within the volcano magma chamber, the volcano itself is by now sleeping since thousands of years and has been kept this state by Degor, so the islands near can prosper and not fall down on the planet and create gigantic tectonics instabilities. Note: The Lava ocean is approximately 95% of the planet surface, and is above 79% of the "habitable" surface.

Primal Resonance Birkeland

Named as its one of the eldest Birkeland ever found, this name is summered up to PRB or Electrolite Birkelands. This Birkeland is known to be one of the most stable but also one of the oldest, and this phenomenon mainly comes from the Raysoning hearts that compose each island which enters in resonance within each other and create an electrical link between them. And because of this, the islands are linked to each other like a continent and never move by themselves as their links serve also as kind of chains. It can also create very strong thunderstorms in the area but the cities within the are protected and use these storms for a good. The continent is the most populated zone on the planet, excluding Aferchites population, with Col-Galnier as their most known settlements, but with several huge cities built in harmony with the islands structures.

Global Story

The first colons arrived after Ragnarök around 1742, Amarion arrived approximately around 1836 around the newbuilt Col-Galnier and finished his first Voidglass in 1839. The colons quickly knew about Degor existence which was at this time much smaller than now, but also less fearful. Despite being young and savage, Degor was curious about them and let them settle there but he just asked them to build on the islands and shape their buildings along it to make harmony with them. The first human colons arrived around 1845 with some CSUN materials to try a new colony on a very hostile planet and was an experience from them to see how much they can adapt to a hostile environment. The experience was a good success.

Teslarand

More detailed article: Teslarand The Teslarand event occurred in 1906 and is one major event in Vagnus history. The Birkeland went unstable because of the huge M-Energy floating beneath and the Raysoning link went unstable and created a gigantic stormcloud above, the storm shut down every energiotic technology and disturbed the people BSL. It lasted few days and forced Degor to use different strains, mainly Taretalos to stabilize the cloud and slowly move it away, after few days they could lower it to dust but had several problems behind. Some islands fell down to lava and created tectonic disturbance for several hours, and a thousand people died and much more had their BSL unstable and needed re-education.

Interesting Aspects

Vagnus is mainly known for its flying islands and so its parkours, it also have insane quantities of ressources as lava contain most of them. Its also there that most of Paranis Voidglass is produced, and is a huge economic pole within the sector.
