Jethro Detrimene

Jethro Detrimene was the patriarch of the Detrimene family at its founding and up to the Violet Dawn. Prior to the Violet Dawn his cruelty as a father was a poorly kept secret amongst the families and the government, but he was given much latitude to perform his experiments due to his genius. He had many children, and throughout his life he experimented with them all towards creating something that was perceived as more perfect than the Dragon Lords.
He was presumed killed during the Violet Dawn by his, missing and presumed deceased, son, Thydra Detrimene. However, he was later discovered to be alive, albeit barely, by adventurers looking into the disappearance of Barten Selmy. He had remained alive, sustaining himself with an unknown magic. He continued his experiments and was later defeated by a group of adventurers after they freed Barten.
