Before the Itaros Imperium, the city of Itaros was the center of a city-state that operated as a republic. Founded on the abdication of earlier kings, the Itarosan Republic flourished until, motivated by ambition and a sense of grievance, Proconsul Brontus Dorus Moraelis marched his army into the city and crowned himself Emperos.
