Office of Investigations for the Grand Marshalsea of Vvathaf
This office is the only law enforcement agency above the district level. They concern themselves only with investigating major crimes that either affect the functioning of government, involve evasion of trade taxes, or cross district lines. They also investigate a small number of crimes in the territories outside the Free City but under its control.
Structure
The Office is overseen by the politically appointed Chief Inspector for the Grand Marshalsea of Vvathaf, who answers directly to the Grand Marshal of Vvathaf. The day-to-day work is supervised by operatives called Inspectors, who appoint anywhere from two to ten Deputy Inspectors to assist them in their duties. Additionally, each Inspector supervises a team of administrative and clerical workers to assist them, as well.
