Mushwoods

The Mushwoods is a forest located on Caivh Hwell's southeastern peninsula, its largest peninsula, known as Mushwood Mainland but commonly just referred to as the Mushwoods, although sometimes called Mushwood Neck by Nickwickians and Trepsiltonians who seek more equality with Mossellia, Caivh's capital.   The forest is known for its giant trees, thick canopy, darkness, and luminous and dangerous flora, fauna, and fungi, particularly its fungi.   The only settlement within the forest is the gnome capital, and the capital of Caivh Hwell, Mossellia. The Caivhway is the only road within the forest, connecting Mossellia to Cottagetown, which is located at the center of Caivh Hwell.   Faeries are said to have a secret ring within the woods.
