Suthton

Suthton is located on Minnet Hwell's southern tip, and is Orcli's southernmost point and settlement. Because of this, it is also the closest point to the continent of Zabokh. It is known for its tropical produce, flat land, beach, calm bay, shanty town, and transient population of Minnetians and seafarers who wish to travel to Zabokh. Although Suthton isn't located along the main shipping routes, the town does rely on imports for sustenance and exports for finances. The town is a hub for the Zed Delvers, a group of explorers and expeditionists with interests in Zabokh.

Demographics

Mostly human, with a transient minority of seafarers, who are more diverse, typically including tieflings, gnomes, dwarves, halflings, elves, and Zabokhian races, which are rare in Orcli.

Defences

Little defenses other than the calm, shallow water that makes up its bay, giving wide range of sight in case the population needs to flee to the Pineapplewoods to the north.

The inhabitants of Suthton are involved in either agriculture (coconuts, pineapples, bananas), trade (Zabokhian goods especially), or seafaring (specifically, expeditions to Zabokh).

Sandalwood structures, palm-thatched roofs, walls and wooden floors with sizeable gaps, openness due to Suthton's balmy weather, temporary structures since they're often abandoned or destroyed by hurricanes.

Geography

The ground and sea floor is relatively flat, making an easy-to-navigate bay and creating a lot of space for sugarcane, pineapples, coconuts, and banana harvesting.  Soft, tan sand.
