Blightlung

Blightlung is a medical condition known in the Deeplands.

It varies in its manifestation being merely a seasonal allergy to some while being a wasting and deadly disease in other cases.

Statistically speaking the Parvian Saints document that blightlung most often heavily impacts non-Sumraki-Ashaī while leaving Sumraki-Ashaī with a good chance to recover easily but exceptions are often seen as those with weak immune systems due to malnutrition (which is common in Styx )are often taken by the illness.

Blightlung is known to be caused by the inhalation of the seasonally omnipresent spores of the Greenbright Moss that is found all across the Deeplands and serves as an important light source.
