High Council of Mages

The High Council of Mages is the regulating body of the Academia Ars Magicka et Mundana and the magickal education system of Styx.
It is a council of thirteen of the most well studied and powerful mages, many very old and very wise, who make legal decisions concerning the practice of magick within the borders of the Republic of Styx.

Eight members of the council each represent a school of magick, the remaining five respectively represent studied magick, inborn magick, divinely granted magick, pact magick and obscure magick (covering any other forms of magick).
