The university of Styx is one of the most prestigious houses of learning and study in the Western Deeplands.
As the name suggests the school was originally solely dedicated to magickal studies but it has since branched out and features a large and well-renowned department of the Natural Sciences.
There are many other departments, for example one of Archeology, Cosmic Studies, Language Science or Mathematics.
The university is located in Norrsidra Propera in a monumental stone building that was once the palace of one of the many noble families of Styx and its elaborately decorated black metal door with towering stone arches is a sight to behold for many who first step through it.
The High Council of Mages oversees the academy and the system of magickal education in Styx.
