Risenhart

Risenhart was the seat of government in Lakesore prior to the foundation of the People’s Republic of Styx and the Old Castle is still located there. It now serves as an armory and barracks for the People’s Army of Styx. Also located here is the headquarters of the Union of Magifactury Workers, in a great building with pillars of black marble the magick workers of Styx meet. The Union is the first stop within the city limits for many travellers as practicing the magickal arts without a Charta Permitto minted by the High Council of Magi is a violation of the Law and punished harshly. Risenhart features many twisted cobblestone streets and small trade emporia, most notably and well known of them is Magifax Needs, an emporium specializing in the sale of magick goods, equipment, artifacts as well as alchemical ingredients.

Magifax Needs

Magifax Needs, simply called Magifax by many, is an emporium of wondrous goods. In a small and incredibly cramped store Boris Varivozdhova sells all kinds of goods that a worker of the magickal arts would need. As long as one has a permit to practice magick and wield such items almost anything ranging from magickal weaponry and armor over trinkets and enchanted jewelry to potions and ingredients to brew them can be bought here. Boris is known among the locals as a cooky and shrewd man, he is not especially well liked by the people of Risenhart due to his strange demeanor and "satirical murals" of his face bearing his characteristic moustache as well as thick glasses have appeared on houses in the district frequently.
