Ryld Tharnova VI.

Ryld Tharnova VI. is the new duke of Sharhaven. Since his ascension to the throne by way of what many describe as a coup d'etat against his late half-sister, the previous duke, he has ruled the Obsidian Shore region. Ryld VI. is a member of the Tharnova noble family that has long ruled the Obsidian Shore, Ryld however is the first man from this line to take the throne. When he first gained power many of his citizens were quite shocked, the idea a man could one day rule their lands never even occured to them and they mistrusted him greatly, but over short time of his rule so far he has demonstrated leadership skills and made it his policy to take a more active role in defending the outlying villages of the Obsidian Shore against the repeated assaults from the sea that plague them. The people of Sharhaven have started to trust Ryld and approval among them is high.
