Unionization era

The Unionization era is the time spanning the 11th to 15th legislation period of the Temple Parliament of the People's Republic of Styx, from the Year 80 till the Year 120.

Its primary defining feature and name-giver is the formation of the Great Unions which replaced the previous revolutionary council as the pool from which the people of Styx vote their representatives into the Temple Parliament.

Originally every single profession within the city formed its own small union but over the course of this era many morphed and united to form larger unions until eventually the Great Unions known today remained.

The utopianist energy of this era ended abruptly when the Years of Hunger and Cold set in.
